Hello, Parev, Konnichiwa, Bonjour.

Welcome to the new website of The Alchemist design + print a four years young Print, Branding and Web Design studio situated in the very heart of New Zealand’s capital, Wellington City. Our three-man-one-woman team consists of George Hajian, Victoria Kay, Antony Brown, and Jonathon Toon. We could of course ramble on about how ethically diverse we are as a company and how we push the limits of each client project with intent to further our creative palates to some God-like status, but you’ve all heard all that before, so let us tell you about why we created this website.

The purpose of the brand revamp and website redesign of The Alchemist was to bring our work closer to you, the client, the everyman, the occasional browser. With this iteration we wish to forge a more subjective view of our creative process, inviting you to interact with us on a more colloquial level, to comment on the approaches we take with each new design brief, tell us how you think we are so amazing and unique, wish us Happy Birthday, and all that other stuff our parents obviously neglected doing for us…you get the drift.

We will also show you tidbits of life working at The Alchemist, as each of us will personally put up updates relating to anything from our personal design experiences to how much Jonathon is pissing everyone off with his music, or how fricken’ sweet George’s lunch was. So expect the spectrum to be rather entertaining.
